No Racing this past week.

I did not race this week simply because Kate and I headed out to Prince Edward Island for vacation. It was a relaxing weekend at a rented cottage located on the South shore of PEI not far from the Confederation Bridge.

The weather was great for most of the week, wet the first two days. We toured the island, went on a seal watching cruise, and I took in a round of golf.

I played a round at The Links at Crowbush Cove located on the North shore of the island, Kate was the driver of the cart for the 18 holes. I have never played a round of golf at such an amazing course, great scenery, extremely challenging holes (I lost at least 10 balls), and supreme class. My goal was to play a course that was nothing like anything one could find in and around Ottawa, I feel I accomplished that as the quality of the course was supreme, and the service one receives was excellent as I have never had somebody whipe my clubs down for me before I started the round, nor have I had free access to a warmup driving range where the balls are provided at the tees and you merely walk up and start hitting balls.

All in all a vacation I would do again, despite the 12 hour drive just to get there, or back home.
